Advent Day 24 – The Big Finale!

Mike: Those lights in the distance…it’s not…is it?

Dave: YES it is!

Carol: HERMEY! The elf that wants to be a dentist!

Mike: Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! Quick! Carol! Take my photo! I’m sitting on Rudolph!

Carol: Just one sec! I’m taking Hermey’s photo. Say, “Cheese!” Hermey!

Dave: And that’s not all! Guess who else is here?

Carol: Uh…Yukon Cornelius? Sam the Snowman? Burgermeister Meisterburger?

Dave: No. Wrong show. That’s Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.

Mike: Could it be…SANTA???

Carol: SANNNNNNNNNNNNNNTAAAAAAAAAAA!

Dave: Yup. It’s my boss, Santa Claus. Hiya, boss!

Santa: Ho Ho Ho! Hello Dave! I think your mission to bring about the Christmas spirit worked!

Santa: Since your mission was a success, I’ll be giving you a raise AND more vacation AND a company car AND stock options in the workshop. How does that sound, Dave?

Dave: Terrific! Thanks, Boss!

Santa: Merry Christmas, everyone!

Editor’s note: Happy Christmas, everyone! I hope you enjoyed this year’s advent story. I feel so much in the Christmas spirit now, I’d like to show you this year’s tree, all dolled up.

Tada! I’ve also got some sugar cookies that need to be decorated and maybe a few more decorations to hang up around the house. I also have a couple of presents left to wrap for Mike. We have plenty of presents all ready to go, but I had to put them in the closet because the kitties were BITING THEM. BITING THEM! What? They could care less about climbing up the tree, but biting the presents? Sheesh.

Also, December 24th, 2011 already? Whoa. This year really flew by.

On another note – Christmas in 24 hours! YAY!
