How I spent the evening.

I’m not sure how honorable or useful a Halloween Union Jack quilt top is, but it has met it’s fate with the seam ripper tonight. I don’t think I’ve ever ripped apart anything I’ve sewn together – I usually throw it in the corner, fold it up and put it in the stash pile, turn it into bunting and/or start over. Finishing projects just isn’t my strongest skill. Or at least it wasn’t. I’m going to keep on trying until this one is finished, though – even if that means ripping it out over and over until next Halloween. I’ll try to sew it together so there’s a solid centre tomorrow.

And while I’m at it, I’ve decided that this is also going under the knife:

Also going under the knife.

I don’t like the face at all and will probably just make it into a mug rug. Or a quilted tea cozy! Much better.

I’ll have to sew this on the weekend because right now, I can’t keep my eyes open much longer. I am feeling very sleepy.

Seam ripping is exhausting.
