Too crazy?

After seeing this funky, free-form quilt, I thought I’d try to make some squares myself. I just made one tonight -

I think it’s just enough free-form…I’ll make a few more and see how they look together. Rather than having the pressure of making an entire quilt, I think I’ll stick to more and more pillows. I really don’t like all that measuring – one wrong measurement, and the whole quilt could be wonky…and the next thing you know, you’re adding extra pieces and cutting things here and there and then it just looks, well, crazy.

I’ll keep working on the smaller projects and work my way up to bigger and bigger projects.

I like that square. Did you use his pattern? His quilt is pretty wild. I don’t think I would find it restful. The pillow will be nice.

Did you ever get a bird made? They looked cute too.

Yah…this for sure isn’t a sleepy time pillow! It’s a rise and shine and get moving pillow! Also…I can’t figure out the bird pattern. I think I’ll bring it with me next time I see Cynthia for a little sewing tutoring. I will keep you posted!

Ah. Stumpeditis. I hate that. I can drop things off the map for years due to stumpeditis.
