It seems like forever ago when I took these photos. I guess this is what delayed gratification is like. I’m sorry, I’m not familiar with waiting for much these days. What do I have to wait for? The bus? That’s usually about 10 minutes at the most. Lunch? Nope. I can eat at my desk. Now that I think of it, I rarely wait for anything. And having to wait 10 days for anything? I can’t think of one thing. Not even Snail Mail.
Anyway, the wet lab – which sounds like it’s run underwater or at a car wash – was closed at my usual film development place. Now they mail it to their lab in Calgary, so you have to wait 10 days for it to be developed. I just tried to look at it as anticipation, but when the photos you took end up looking more or less like the last time I took photos with my toy camera picking apples, it’s a bit of lunch bag let down. Thank goodness I took photos of these pumpkins in a wagon!

Speaking of fruit – yup. Pumpkins ARE fruit! I thought they were delicious, sweet, vegetables – I learned something today.
I also learned something else today. I learned that bananas contain no juice at all. I put one in the juicer and absolutely NO juice was extracted. That was a waste of a banana.
I do like how this photo of the family picking apples turned out, though.
I went back to using the telephoto lens on the Diana F+. It does look kind of more like a painting than a crisp, clear photo. I’m not sure if I got the focus wrong, or if it was just the cloudy day, but it is a happy accident.
I’ll keep practicing with that camera. And maybe down the road, I could learn how to develop my own film.

I LOVE these photo’s, especially the pumpkins! There is something so magical about the fall air isn’t there.
I think you should open a juice bar and call it Banana Juice! lol!
