All day long I was looking forward to grilling up some veggies. That’s weird, I know.
I selected this grilled kale recipe.
I’m not sure where I went wrong, except that:
1) it was 10:30 at night by the time I was finished making dinner.
2) it said it, “makes one healthy stack of crispy kale”
We didn’t have crispy kale at all. We had a mushy, lemony kale. It smelled DELICIOUS while cooking on the grill, though – all that garlic! YUM!
Man. Grilling is harder than I thought. Yesterday we had half cooked sausages and today, mushy kale. Thank goodness the zucchini turned out okay yesterday.
I’m still going try grilling those marinated asparagus. That will be tomorrow’s experiment.
I will keep trying.
