Woohoo! It’s back to summer temperatures (as it should be) so the kitties are laying around the house trying not to move one bit.
Maybe I shouldn’t say this out loud, but I have been making cold calls for work (EEEK!) and have had some success. And by success, they person on the other end did not yell at me for calling (I did have that happen at my last job once.) nor did they tell me they weren’t interested in what I had to say. One lovely stranger accepted my offer to look at demo reels of animation students and the other person invited me to meet her in person and go for a coffee after I get a tour of the space planning company. What? I know! I’m completely shocked by the positive response! I think I’ll keep at it!
In other news, well, there’s not any other news, but I just really like this container of mints that Mike brought back from Nova Scotia.

Mike had a great time getting you “goodies” at the Freak Lunch Box in Halifax. It’s my favourite & can’t wait to take you there too…. Love the pic of your “boys”!!
