The goofballs and garlic breath

The goofballs.

I found the boys snuggled up on the Acorn Chair when I was bringing some laundry (YAY!) downstairs. I have no idea how Oscar put up with this scenario at all. I guess he’s more tolerant than I thought. Donner was pressed up against him and Oscar just let him lay on him for some time.

While the boys lingered on the Acorn Chair, I got busy making some hummus for a potluck using my favourite recipe from the Saudi Arabia cookbook. I hope everyone at work likes garlic because I doubled the recipe and that meant I needed to add 8 cloves of garlic. DELICIOUS!

That's 8 cloves of garlic

I can’t wait to get on the bus tomorrow. I’ll fit right in! HHHHHHHHHHHHHELLLLLLLLLLLLLLO!

I cut up these cheerful peppers to dip into the chickpea spread along with some pita bread.

Crunchy pepper

Since I was on a roll of making stuff, I decided to use up the old Christmas Rice Krispies and make some Rice Krispie Squares.

The Christmas Krispie Treats

I think I’ve got tomorrow’s potluck covered. I just have to remember to take it out of the fridge tomorrow on my way out the door.

I can’t forget it. Even if we tried, I don’t think Mike and I could eat 4 or 5 cups of hummus.

Oscar: Hey, get off! I was here first!
Donner: No way, it’s my turn.
Oscar: Are you kidding me? We don’t take turns, never have, never will.
Donner: Well too bad, I’m here now and I’m not leaving.
Oscar: Well neither am I! pfft!
