Watermelon

I read some somewhere recently that watermelon is very good for you – especially for flushing out the liver. Something my liver could use – I took some B12 supplements recently and it backfired. It created a crazy teen-aged zit farm on my face. Apparently the B12 stays stored in your liver, so I thought I’d better take care of that little situation. On my way home, I stopped at the fruit stand and picked up 2 mini-watermelons, limes and ginger. I made this for dessert tonight – I halved one of the little melons and scooped out the flesh with a melon baller. I squeezed half a lime over the watermelon and then used a fine metal grater to scrape some of the ginger over the whole salad.

Hopefully this, plus all the water I’m drinking, will make my skin go back to normal and give me a happier liver.

Carol,
It’s true- watermelon is great for you! Since it consists of 92% water, eating it is a great way to flush toxins out of your body. It is also packed with vitamins and the antioxidant lycopene. To learn more about watermelon’s abundant health benefits visit: http://bit.ly/9YBRjZ.
Enjoy!

And B12 cause zits- good to know!
I am tortured by them, nothing works in my situation, but water does help!
