Do you remember searching our whole apartment for Kitty and finally finding her in the refridgerator?! After that I would regularly look for her in the fridge, Stephan thought I was nuts! BTW Christian and I have been enjoying the antics of that crazy Christmas Bandit. Thanks for the giggles!

Oscar's like, "Did I freak you all out? Mission accomplished. Now, to go find a place to nap for 12 hours." Cats are the best.

When we first moved into the house in Arizona, Boomer let all the cats out before the furniture arrived. We went in one day and could not find Roy anywhere. There was nowhere for him to hid because there was no furniture and no one had been around to open closet doors that he could get locked into, right? Finally, after looking everywhere, Boomer absently opened a drawer in the built-in bathroom vanity. And there was Roy, an adult cat, hanging out in a vanity drawer. Turns out he could open the cabinet door and then jump into the drawer from the back.

Mom was looking for Sean. Seannie Puss was not hard to miss, all 18 pounds of him. She finally started getting ready for bed, opened the drawer to get her jammies, and Seannie Puss stood up and stretched and said hello. He had been in the drawer since she put her jammies away in the morning.

Looks like Oscar learned stelth skills while wearing the cone. There is always an upside to everything. (Imagine spending all those Canadian Maple Leaves?)

My sister in laws cat loved to hit in weird places. During a bathroom remodel Gus went missing and they figured he was spooked and hiding somewhere since there was so much pounding and such going on. Then, later that evening, their dear daughter Andrea came out of the bathroom to announce....

"Mommy, the walls is meowing."

Apparently Gus decided that the hole in the wall would be an excellent hiding place and didn't account for the fact that during that afternoon the hole got plastered over. Oops.

We need to invent a cheap, small, GPS tracker for pets. I do like the bell idea. Of course with six cats it just might sound like jingle bells. Not a bad idea this time of year I suppose. The problem will be to get six bells tuned to a different pitch.

And for those of us Dexter Fans that haven't seen the episode - no giving it away. Santa will bring charcoal and a stick...

Actually we've given Dexter a break while we follow the exploits of the Christmas Bandit.

Time to bell the cat. Seriously. While both of my kitties are completely indoors, they both wear collars with different sounding bells so I know what trouble they are up to...
