Sadly, I am temporarily out of commission. This is the first time I’ve checked my email in days. I never do that. Turns out I haven’t missed much, thankfully. I’m down and out with the worst case of hives I’ve ever experienced. They are sore and itchy and hot all at the same time. The doctor figures I’ll need about 4 days for this to pass. I’m on day 2 1/2, but who’s counting? My mom and sister are being good sports about the whole thing. Nice way to spend their vacation – with their spotted up family member all hopped up on anti-histamines.
Also, the hives have spread to my face. Beauty! I especially look pretty with a nice coating of pink Calamine lotion.
Good times.

I feel your pain-someone poisoned me with yoghurt this morning. (I’m highly allergic.) It was unintentional and partially my fault because it never occured to me that someone would use it in caesar salad dressing, but there you go. UGH!

What a way to spend your 40th! Take some Benedryl. Yikes. Hives are the worst! Calamine lotion does not work imo.

That’s a tough draw there – fortunately I haven’t had a bad case in hives in a long time (knock on wood). But whatever doesn’t kill you will only make you stronger, so think of how much more awesome you’ll be afterwards!
