I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it – Groucho Marx
I’m not quite sure who this is, but I think it may be my Aunt Barb. I’ll confirm the identity with my mom. I’m liking this simple and hilarious Halloween costume. Especially on a little kid. Heh.
I had lots of time to think about Halloween today. I was under the weather (as are many around the school where I work) and slept and made turkey soup. That was the extent of my day. Sleep and turkey.
I also found the inspiration for this year’s Jack-o-lantern. I am going to recreate this one!
I like this jack-o-lantern and his very long smile. I’ve got a pumpkin carving event to attend in a couple of weeks, so this will be my design. In fact, I like this whole set up. Perhaps I should recreate the whole thing once I’ve got my pumpkin all carved up!
Side note: IF only we had those floor tiles. I love them!
