A jolly costume!

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it – Groucho Marx

Or so says the Goodreads website. You can’t be too careful when finding quotes on the internets. You know what Abraham Lincoln said about quotes on the internet.

I’m not quite sure who this is, but I think it may be my Aunt Barb. I’ll confirm the identity with my mom. I’m liking this simple and hilarious Halloween costume. Especially on a little kid. Heh.

I had lots of time to think about Halloween today. I was under the weather (as are many around the school where I work) and slept and made turkey soup. That was the extent of my day. Sleep and turkey.

I also found the inspiration for this year’s Jack-o-lantern. I am going to recreate this one!

Pumpkin headI like this jack-o-lantern and his very long smile. I’ve got a pumpkin carving event to attend in a couple of weeks, so this will be my design. In fact, I like this whole set up. Perhaps I should recreate the whole thing once I’ve got my pumpkin all carved up!

Side note: IF only we had those floor tiles. I love them!
