Hydrangea progress

The hydrangea bushes are nearly ready for cutting and sharing. There are TONS of blossoms on the bushes this year. I guess it's better to neglect them all together. I don't think I even cut them down last December. Sadly, hydrangeas are poisonous to cats, so I'll take some to work. Speaking of work, that's all I'm preoccupied with these days. There's a big event on Thursday and it's a bit stressful. However, I'll learn all I can on this one and I'll be ready for the next one. Since the portfolio shows are a couple of times per year, I'll get used to it. It's been ages since I've done a real event. I'm pretty rusty. *GULP* Happily, it's hot enough to bring the fans out from the garage and kitties are mostly laying flat as pancakes on the floor, except when... it's time for dinner. Oscar is always in the mood for dinner no matter what the temperature is. I guess having a slow couple of days will work out alright because the next few days are going to be busy ones. I'm the finish line photographer at the Knee Knacker event again this year, so that will be fun. That's on Saturday. Then on Sunday night, Mike's back home. Hooray! Now, that's a lot of excitement packed in between now and the 15th. I'd better get my beauty rest.
