My Uncle was a tank driver in the second world war. He mailed home samples of toilet paper for his families edification. I wonder if it is something in the air?

I haven’t seen the torch this time around, though my co-worker got stuck behind it and ran into the relay 5 times as it made it’s way through Surrey. I did however see the Calgary torch back in 88 as it passed right in front of my house on Fraser Highway back when I lived out in rural Langley.

Thanks for furthering the discussion on the mysteries of the torch relay. Okay. I’ll buy the explanation of the secret gnome network. In that case, Gnome-OC is far more efficient than VANOC. Whamo bamo the torch moves clear across the city and over 3 bridges – all while we were asleep! Guess the same thing will happen tonight as the Gnomes will be busy bringing the torch to Burnaby for the morgen. Say “hi” if you can to Matt Lauer. Don’t forget to tell him you’re a friend of Cher’s.

P.S. I sure hope you can find that picture of yours from the Calgary Olympics!!!!

Even some provinces use “toilet” rather then washroom and wont know what it means.
