Oh, those faces.

Okay, okay, okay. I took all these photos at night. Tonight. D’oh! Late night photos two nights in a row. It was a busy, busy, day AND the nights are getting longer. Wait, is that a complaint? Because if I learned anything today, it’s that, “Complaining is not an action step.”. I got that in my email box this morning courtesy of one of those, “a good thought a day” email sites and it’s been dogging me all day long. I started thinking about how complaints can be disguised as something else, like, making fun of someone (technically, a complaint), and making snap judgements about something/someone (technically, a complaint).

Then Mike wondered if it would even be possible not to complain at all. Ever.

Boy, would our house ever be quiet if we tried that experiment. Anyway, Mike is not complaining in this photo.

He is just very, very sad that the Canucks are not playing these days. We both miss hockey very much and look forward to it’s return.

Meanwhile, right above Mike’s head, about 6 stories up, in the window of the SHAW building…

A very spooky, Halloween face. There are several floors with Halloween decorations in the window visible from the street below.

Speaking of scary faces…

Oscar’s newest favourite place to hang out is on top of the dryer. It’s a stacking washer/dryer system, so he’s about a foot or so below the ceiling when he sits up there. I’m also guessing it gets warm up there, which is something he really likes – the same reason why he likes the dishwasher after a cycle is done…all that warm air floating around him.

I couldn’t forget about Donner.

He’s just darn cute sometimes.

AWWWW…cute!
