These cute little men on Cynthia & Norm’s mantle are:
a) Dumbledors from Harry Potter. Just without the tall wizard hats.
b) dudes heading over to the jail to bust out The XMAS Bandit.
c) Daniel and Henrik Sedin in the year 2050.
If you picked the Sedins, so did I! That was my first thought upon seeing these two.
But if anyone out there knows who these guys are, please let me know. The internets were no help at all.

i googled “santa with key” and got some links to poems and such about santa’s magical key … it’s how he gets into homes that don’t have chimneys, apparently. maybe these are his twin mini-me key holders?

I just remember them being stuck in a chocolatey dessert- some kind of rum laden trifle I think- at my gran’s and everybody fighting to lick them off. Then my great uncle taking the big bowl after it was done & sitting in the middle of the living room with a big wooden spoon saying it was his bowl & he was going to lick it. Yeah our fam is weird. But funny! Well most of us anyway…
