It looks like we’re going to make a short video for work, so the next couple of weeks, I’ll be practicing some video making – including editing. And the coolest part? This is the tiny video camera I’ll be using.

It’s a point and shoot Canon and it’s smaller than an iphone. Under the right lighting conditions, the video looks very sharp – very nice. I’ll be practicing that over the next few days. And another thing I have to learn? Editing. Uh, that’s a bit tough. I’ll be learning how to use some online editing software – apparently easy to learn – however, I couldn’t even figure out how to get it started, so I’ve got a lot of learning to do.
Happily, Oscar cooperated with a video today. He usually walks away these days when I bring out my camera (unlike that hambone, Donner).
Please consider this video a “before” edit. I expect to present you with an edited version in the very near future. This 27 second video will be considerably shorter.

Looking forward to more video fun with the Brownes and their 2 furry critters!
If I was in BC, I would totally give you Kelaine’s crash course to editing with final cut. Editing can be FUN! Instead, I will leave you with this link to a film completely filmed on a point and shoot camera as inspiration. http://www.jeffpitcher.com/video/winter.html
Way cool! I had better get you autograph now – later it will be valuable! : )
That camera looks just like my little Canon PowerShot Elph!
