Earlier this week, I received an email from my cousin, Andrea.
Just WAIT and see what we found at my dad’s house for you! I have it here at my place now, just have to either get a copy made and mail it to you and scan it and email it to you. You are going to LOVE IT!!!!!!
So, today in the mail, I received her surprise. SQUEEE! I love my blue dress and my baby shoes. I think I’ll take this photo with me the next time I get my hair cut.
While I was opening up my piece of mail, Mike opened up a Valentine’s Day card his Mom & Dad sent us. A Valentine’s card that, coincidently, contained baby photos of Mike. So today, Mike received his baby banana phone photo, too.
What kind of crazy banana phone day is this?

I was calling for pizza and a diaper change for Rachel, my sister, who had shat her pink Dr. Dentons. I dialed your number by accident, because I was two years old and didn’t have a good grasp of telephony. Thanks for not slamming your pretend phone down in my ear.
No problem. Politeness is one of my best assets. Even as a baby on my fake phone, I wouldn’t dream of slamming a phone down on anyone other than a very rude “heavy breather” phone caller.

Those photos are just so cute! Baby Rachel does look like she is in distress, and that distress is compounded by doubt about Mike’s abilities to assist. Carol looks so happy to hear from Mike.
I had a friend who had as a prize posession a black bakelite rotary phone. It weighed a tonne. Some young friend asked to use the phone and didn’t know how to dial the number. Very cute.
