I had a glorious day of cross-border shopping. I had awesome intentions of taking photos of cute, little, downtown Bellingham. I got there bright and early this morning only to realize I had left my battery charging in the wall at home. DAG NAMMIT! I thought about buying another battery for my camera at a big box store, but ended up buying some boots with the Union Jack on them, so I couldn’t really justify buying another battery when I had 2 at home. It’s also important to know that the boots cost less than another battery for my camera, so those boots just saved us money!
Shopping logic! I have it. I’ll show you my boots tomorrow. They are very cool.
After enjoying some Mexican food – tacos and enchiladas – I headed home with my loot, dropped it off and Mike & I headed over to #21 for some dinner and movies. But tonight, instead of the usual movies, Scott MADE us watch Top Gear – a British car review show. At first I was all, “AH BOO! That’s boring! Those guys are turds!” BUT we watched them take some 4 by 4s through Bolivia – the kids liked that one – and then we watched the one where the 3 wheeled Reliant Robin gets test driven by one of the hosts. It’s pretty much the best thing ever. Just watch this and see! It’s worth watching all 10 minutes of it!
Tomorrow is officially, “clean the garden day”. Time to clean it up and get it ready for the winter. SAD. No more garden tomatoes for us for awhile.
But that’s better than a Reliant Robin, that’s for sure.
