The dry cycle

This was the same look I got from them that time we heard something tumble in the middle of the night.

Me: Oof. Did you hear that? What was that?

Mike: The kitties.

Me: It sounds like they pushed over a bag of oranges. But we don’t have a bag of oranges.

I got up to see the damage and flicked on the kitchen light. I got this same look from them that night that you see here. Both were wide-eyed and staring at me – motionless.

And there were a bunch of apples strewn on the floor. Oh right! It was a bag of apples they somehow pushed off the counter.

Goofballs.

While I do not like the fact that the boyz are up on the counters, ever, it does happen from time to time. I try not to encourage it, but I can’t bring myself to make them get down off the dishwasher during the drying cycle. The top of the dishwasher is nice and warm and Oscar (especially) loves to lay right down on the top of the dishwasher and snooze for a couple of hours until the dishwasher cools down. It’s Oscar’s favourite spot – even Donner doesn’t bug him for that area during warm dishwasher time, but he does saddle up close by for his share of warm air.
