I had to take a nap this afternoon. I’m not a nap person, I’m a sleep-in person. Maybe I’ve been gallivanting a bit too much these days. This afternoon I went to a crafty party and and made some fridge magnets. Even though I drank 3 cups of coffee at that party, by 5:00, I was barely able to keep my eyes open. I slept on the couch until it was time to go over to my friend, Dianne’s, for Thanksgiving dinner. Since Mike was working tonight, I was available for some warm up turkey before our Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.
Dinner was delicious. We ate dinner and watched Jerry Maguire. Oof. Not my favourite movie at all, but I watched it only to see Bob Sugar – the character that Jay Mohr played.
Dianne has 3 kitties – all have long hair. Niko is the ragdoll cat above with the blue, blue eyes. His sister who loves turkey and meowed and meowed for more turkey is named Nakita.
And Mama was a stray that Dianne rescued in 2000 – she was pregnant with the two kitties above.
Dianne’s cats are very sluggish and laid back – pretty much the opposite of Oscar & Donner.
Oh man. I’d better get a good night’s sleep. I’ve got a lot of cooking to do tomorrow.
