This week I was greeted with a thank you gift (of sorts) from my sister and cousin! Remember? They visited a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. One thing I neglected/forgot to mention was that we watched a lot of movies. I mean MANY movies. Here is the list of the movies we watched between Saturday to Sunday.
- Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (my sister’s favourite)
- Adventures in Babysitting
- I think I may be missing some.
- But, there was one that most repellent. And that movie was a horror movie about a peculiar insect. I won’t give any more details on that as this is a family show.
The grossest movie of them all ended up being my cousin’s favourite! And the only thing she liked better than the actual movie was talking about it to us so she could watch us freak out and beg her to stop. The movie was so disturbing, I think I hurt my soul by watching it. But it’s bouncing back, not to worry. After I thought I had put those awful fictional memories behind me, I was reminded AGAIN of the movie with their gifts – cork board tiles with some photos we took of their visit and…
a tile with a plastic centipede on it – the main subject of the movie. With the worst line in the movie written on one of those talk bubbles coming out of his mouth. BLECH. Thanks for the reminder.
And the kitties can’t get enough of that thing. I had to put it away in the closet – for safekeeping. I wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to all their hard work, would I?
Thanks again guys.
