1) They had me at flickr pins. And then they pulled out some Olympic pins. WHAAAAAAAAAAT?
2) They gave us food and beverages
3) Did I mention the Olympic pins?
4) Then a member of the IOC came to tell us the following (please note, this is my summary. Not a direct quote):
I guess we weren’t clear. We’ve talked to our lawyers. You guys can post all the photos you want of the Olympic games – even at events or anywhere else – as long as you’re not selling them for money, it’s cool with us. SHARE YOUR OLYMPIC PHOTOS!
Best. Flickr. Party. Ever.
I didn’t see that coming at all. Then we ate free crab macaroni, lobster wings and prime rib!
It was a glorious night. And I met Kimli.

The more I read about the Flickr event, the more I wish I didn’t just say maybe to it.. and wasn’t so shy that I decided to head home instead of heading to the party.
Kimli is fabulous. Where did she get the boots. She fits in doesn’t she?
