I pretty much forgot that today was St. Patricks Day. I was in interviews for most of the day. It’s that time again. Another batch of artists ready to pound the pavement and I’ll be knocking on doors along with them. I’m seeing lots of demo reels this time around. It’s very cool.
Anyway, I missed St. Paddy’s Day for the most part, but on the way home, I did find the pot of gold. Well, I found the pot. It was empty – definitely lacking gold. Or is this where the rainbow ends? Well, it was 8 pm and there was no rainbow in sight, so that’s that. HOWEVER, there was a pot! And that’s saying something because this was in the little wooded area between the Newton Bus Exchange and the Safeway. It’s called The Grove and there’s a cool little neighbourhood thing going on over there. They like to decorate the area for special occasions and someone has installed lights so it’s safe in the evenings to walk through. Workshops (on plants and things.) are even offered from time to time in this spot.
The important piece here is that the pot was still there! Nobody took it! Amazing.
Other than that, I’ve got a few headshots booked – one this week and another next week. I will have to take some time this week to do photo edits because I’ve got the wedding photos to take care of as well.
