Before I announce the WINNERS, I wanted to show you some lovely lanterns I took photos of in Chinatown today:
I went into Dr. Sun Yat Sen’s Garden today for a sneak peak of what’s happening for Chinese New Year. They have a few decorations up and a shrine, but I think they are just getting started because the day is still about 10 days away. The big parade is on February 14th and Bec will be marching in the parade! I know! Bec marching in the Chinese New Year Parade? I will be there bright and early on the morning of the big day to record the moment.
Guess what? I just happen to have 2 pairs of mitts to give away today. So, I used THIS random generator (thanks random.org!) to sort out the copious amounts of comments. Er. Well. Okay. There were 9 comments, so your chances of winning are very good.
Without further ado, here is winner number 1:
What do you know? #4 commenter is in need of mittens in Nova Scotia. Michelle, your hands will be warm very soon. Just hang on!
And the second pair of mitts go to….drumroll please…..
Kelaine, who resides in the wintery prairies of Alberta! Brrr…
Way to go, guys! Your new mitts will be in your hot little hands in the very near future. I’ll put them in the mail tomorrow.
I think I just may have a couple more little giveaways over the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned.
And let me be the first to say I am very saddened that we won’t have photos of a very pregnant Stacey in a bikini wearing the red gloves in California – preferably in Disneyland. Darned randomness. It can be a fun stealer sometimes.
