Yesterday’s news

I’m getting caught up. After the doggy post yesterday, I had to to go to bed. Here’s a couple more photos from yesterday.

Yesterday morning at 8:40-ish, the news van was outside our building doing a piece on the Mint Pavilion. At that time, the estimated wait to see the medals was 7 hours. And my boss thought I was weird to take the morning off to stand in the line for 2 hours across the street from my office building last week.

The line was just as long this morning when I got into the office. People really want to see those medals.

Last evening, we walked up to Yaletown for the greatest flickr party of the year and as we were permitted entrance to the “private function” (Heh! That was for us!) there was someone doing an interview in the Yahoo! Live Sports area. That someone? A hockey player who was a contestant on the CBC hit reality show, Battle of the Blades.

Oh! Good news! Battle of the Blades will be returning in the Fall! Oh! I hope Lanny McDonald can make it this time. I’d vote for him every time.

Who was the hockey player being interviewed yesterday?

Ken Daneyko, now retired from the New Jersey Devils.

And now we’re all caught up! Next post, trampolining men in red shirts and a rally for MukMuk.

Carol, you are the girl-about-town! Wow!
Something is going on today because a whole slug of co-workers (Ok – 4) have taken the day off to see some Olympic stuff. The masses will be swollen by my co-workers. LOL
