I am very ready to make a couple of mug rugs on Saturday. I’ve got some fabric picked out…including the fabric that Cynthia designed for me with Oscar & Donner on it.
So cute! I can’t wait to get cracking on them! tomorrow I work late and close up the school, so it’s doubtful I’ll get a head start on it before the weekend. Darn. I’m chomping at the bit to get cutting and sewing and some more paper piecing.
I had a birthday party to attend tonight, so I picked up some Tokyo style flowers from a cute little flower shop in the Granville Skytrain station. I picked out a cute little arrangement put into a ramekin. They also had pretty little teacup arrangements. Tokyo style flower arrangement? It’s so sweet. Tiny little posies. I think I may do that with some of my little tea cups and other nicknacks I don’t use very often. I can make something with roses and ferns. And lavender! All those flowers are safe for kitties.
