It is eagle season, just ask Malcolm. But this is a bit unusual – even for Vancouver.

Yah. It’s a paper eagle holding a paper fish in his paper talons.
Ah boo! Phoney paper eagle on the end of a fishing pole. I’m guessing this was put here to keep the pigeons and seagulls off their balcony. Scaredy birds. I’m sure this would work well at keeping those baby crows like we had on our balcony at my last job. No one wants to have crows dive bombing you at work.
Down the street from the fake eagle, the Japadog decorated their cart with jack-o-lanterns.
Time for a hot dog. Now with more pumpkins.
That wraps up the extent of the excitement of my day today. Not much, really. But I have lots to look forward to in the next few weeks, so it’s pretty nice to have some dull/quiet times for now.
