A tree covered in blossoms the second week in February is kinda early, if you ask me. So, I guess that’s it. Spring is HERE! Hooray! Time to warsh off the balcony and maybe even plant a few plants this year. Like pumpkins. I hate to keep bringing up the dirty old balcony, but I think I should own up. I kept the pumpkins from Halloween on the balcony to harvest the seeds. And they are still out there…seeds and all. Oh dear. I’m pretty sure the seeds will be usable, but I’ll have to rescue them from some pretty slimy, composted insides. I hope the smell won’t be too bad. Yeesh.
Time to get my gardening on!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous!!!! I am dying for spring over here! Sadly so are my bulbs and when we had a warm snap a lot of them started sprouting. Now they are buried under a layer of snow
Also please note that there was a Hoarders episode where they lady kept rotting pumpkins and as they were shoveling them away from her, she was desperately running her hands through their innards trying to save the seeds….hehe.
Are they Verbena bodinensae? There are some around the back of the Honda building which start blooming in November, but are really going great guns right now. They smell lovely.
