Whoa! I know! 2 photos of me in one week on my blog. Also, do I only wear this blouse? Because judging from the two photos, it looks like the only thing I wear. Do not be alarmed. I do have other clothes!
But, the best part of this photo is that I finished my quilt top and made it into a great big pillow for people. Not kitties. This is not a kitty bed. My pillow is full of down and is very big – it’s 20 inches by 20 inches. I’ll put it on the couch for leaning and snuggling up against. The kitties have plenty of beds and cardboard boxes to lay around in.
Turns out deadlines work well for me. I got up at 6:30 this morning and finished sewing it together to take to Quilting Bee tonight. I made an “envelope” back so I can take the big pillow out and wash it when needed. I think it will last a long time.
Quilting Bee was excellent. I’ve got lots more to share (including some awesome camera fabric), but after driving home on the Number 1 highway obstacle course, I’m spent. It took yonkers to get home due to construction that is never going to end. This is pretty weird as it only took me an hour to get to Abbotsford at 5:45 this afternoon.
I also picked up a new pattern…it’s Larry, the Creature, from Sonja of Artisania. See! I told you Quilting Bee was excellent tonight! And I signed up for her paper piecing workshop in October. Huzzah!

Nice cushy looking pillow. And your going to keep the kitty off of it! Have you taken to carrying a sling shot around the house?
