Paint Your Faith

My buddy, Kellie, posted a link about this graffiti wall on her facebook page today. This gigantic mural is right along the bus route I take. Have I noticed it? No. This has been on display this whole week! I’ve been driving right by it 2 times a day, 4 days this week. I guess my Buddha book is very engrossing.

Anyway, I’m glad she posted this info, because this is a cool project. Paint Your Faith is sponsored (? I’m not sure that’s the right word) by the United Church. They invited 4 artists (Faith47 from South Africa, Titi Freak from Brazil, Peeta from Italy and Indigo from Vancouver) to paint their faith in a mural.

More photos below…

I can’t be sure, but I think the Vancouver artist, Indigo, did the paintings of the girl blowing the dandelion and the girls jumping/dancing. And Titi Freak definitely did the faces.

Here is the website for this project with lots more information about the artists. And a few more of my photos here.

Nicely exposed compositions.
