Chinatown at dusk

March 18, 2015

I had a photoshoot tonight in Chinatown, which was lovely. On my way home, I took some photos on the very quiet street to the skytrain. It was a peaceful walk, which I didn’t even realize until I started typing this just now. Most of the shops were closed, but the Gum Wing was open.

I pretty much forgot

March 17, 2015

I pretty much forgot that today was St. Patricks Day. I was in interviews for most of the day. It’s that time again. Another batch of artists ready to pound the pavement and I’ll be knocking on doors along with them. I’m seeing lots of demo reels this time around. It’s very cool. Anyway, I […]

Did someone say, “bacon”?

March 16, 2015

Monday is a late night for me, so dinner is always quick and easy. Tonight? Bacon and eggs. And once the bacon started cooking up, the cats could not contain themselves. They were very intrigued by the cooking smells this evening and I had to keep taking them off the counter…first Oscar…then Donner…and Oscar flanked […]

It certainly is.

March 15, 2015

A double exposure I created from two photos from last night’s wedding reception. And it really is true. There is no excuse for bad coffee. Today I was tired. Really tired. It’s been a busy week and last few days. I took it easy today. I took a pass on the rainy parade that Mike […]

Wedding reception gig

March 15, 2015

This couple was one of the first to get to the reception. They had the place to themselves for a little while. Today I got to take the photos at my friend’s son’s wedding. How did I get this opportunity? Well, a few years ago, I took photos of his dog. That really happened! His […]

Please enjoy this view.

March 11, 2015

I did today. I went to a gaming networking event put on by DigiBC after work tonight. THIS was all around us (we were in a fancy lawyer’s office in a high rise building downtown.). In all my time living in Vancouver, I have never seen the city from this vantage point. And I’ve been […]

Just to be clear…

March 10, 2015

Photo by Mike Browne. Font by Cynthia Frenette. I think the lighting in the kitchen is good. I look tan and it’s not even close to summer. Also, I did not fake and bake and that is not a spray tan. Nice work, kitchen lights! Donner looks adorable. He is such a nice kitty when […]

Totally forced

March 9, 2015

Yes, they are TOTALLY forced because the tulips aren’t supposed to be open until next month. But wait! Or are they? I just checked the RoozenGaarde Bloom map and they are predicting tulips THIS MONTH! WHAT? Yes! Good thing I checked. We need to go across the border to see rows and rows of tulips. […]

Doubling up on dinner

March 8, 2015

Daylight Savings time? AH BOO! I guess we just paid back the hour we took in the winter. Happily, today was a very, very nice one. Mike and I drove out to meet some pals in Fort Langley. We had a little walk around and checked out a few antique shops. Fort Langley is adorable. […]
