I got all kinds of stuff done today – lots of work, some laundry, I took the camera in to get cleaned, dropped off some rolls of film, and other assorted errands. This means I have to wait for this weekend’s photos and wait for my camera to come back all spiff on Wednesday.
I pulled this photo out of a bunch I took up in Squamish a couple of weeks ago.
There was a bit of drama tonight when Donner fell asleep on the short wall at the top of the staircase and, I guess in a deep sleep, he tipped over and nearly fell down in a free fall about 12 feet or so. Some how he managed to grab on the 4 inch wide piece of wood at the top and Mike grabbed him when we heard the commotion. Sadly, we have discovered that Donner is a bit of a klutz. He’ll often roll off the couch or the bed, or misjudge a jump. Poor little guy. I don’t remember Oscar having this many problems navigating himself, but he’s not nearly as adventurous as Donner is. They’ve become the ying and yang brothers.

Perhaps Donner was really a circus kitteh…poor little klutzie guy. Good thing his “dad” was there to save him!! He may need to get his coppery eyes checked but just how on earth could he tell you what he is reading…giant letter Eeow!!
Aren’t cats always supposed to land on their feet? If not, don’t they have nine lives or something like that?
) Tell Donner to get his act together…you don’t want any other super high vet bills around Christmas again this year. Oh and did you know that in officially 99 days the Advent Calendar starts???!!!
