Chinatown at dusk

Dusk in Chinatown

I had a photoshoot tonight in Chinatown, which was lovely. On my way home, I took some photos on the very quiet street to the skytrain. It was a peaceful walk, which I didn’t even realize until I started typing this just now.

Most of the shops were closed, but the Gum Wing was open.

Bruce Lee!

And Bruce Lee lives on! Which is pretty amazing considering he died in 1973. Over 40 years ago. Whoa. Deep thoughts happening tonight. Must have been all that walking around.

Welcome to Chinatown

This is the entrance/exit pagoda to/from Chinatown. Just close up and way up.

I’m glad I headed down that way tonight. I’ve not been to this part of town in ages. I haven’t been to Dr. Sun Yat Sen Gardens a donkey’s age. I should go back in the near future. And the walk around that area tonight did me some good. Thankfully I missed the rain and the temperature was just a bit chilly.

It really can be a peaceful place.

I’ve got to get back to photo edits. I’ve got plenty to do – Quilting Bee, head shots, last weekend’s wedding…

…speaking of peaceful places. Photo edits are pretty good for that, too.
