Just another summer day…

…which means it rained off and on for most of the day. Rumour has it we’ll be having some sun tomorrow. I really hope so. I’m ready for it.

The poster above is from the TV show, Da Vinci’s Inquest. Actually, it’s not a poster, it’s an art installation that I didn’t notice until today. Whoops. It’s been there since last September.

I took my new lens out a bit tonight after work. I really need to get some night shots because I think it will make some beautiful bokeh shots. Hopefully I’ll get some night photos this week. And speaking of this week, my dance card is really filling up! Mike won’t have to worry about me pining away at home while he’s in Nova Scotia when he leaves on Thursday. I’ve got a birthday party to attend, a quilt workshop to go to, and some other events. Mike will be back home before I even know it.

Over by 666 Burrard Street, someone (it wasn’t me, I swear) soaped the water fountains. The entire wall was covered in bubbly suds and it looked someone had turned them all off. Heh. School’s out for summer!

And…in other news,

it looks like there will be a bumper crop of hydrangeas in a few weeks. I think I’ll take some to the office.

All great pictures considering it couldn’t decide what it wanted to do today!

Never got into Da Vinci’s Inquest even though it is based on Senator Larry W. Campbell’s (http://www.larrycampbell.ca/) life as a coroner and Mayor of Vancouver so I wouldn’t have recognized the art installation either.

Kids will be kids. Putting soap in fountains anywhere…
