Oof. I’m hoping that once I cut this into an oval shape and quilt it, it will look a little less primitive. It took me longer to figure out a face for this piece than it did to stitch it on. I wanted it to be folksy and eery – not a cheerful face at all. I think it turned out spooky enough. If I need to, I can always take the long stitching out of the mouth and just leave it plain. I’ll figure that out tomorrow.

Oscar was in his posey moods, so I took full advantage.
Other than sleeping and stitching, I’ve not done much at all these past two days. I think I’m resting up for the next few weeks. It’s looking pretty busy out there.
