Everywhere you turn around Vancouver these days there’s something new to see. See what they did to the Vancouver Art Gallery? They turned it into Cathy Mechanic’s mom’s couch. That was her quote, not mine. But I think it looks awesome.
According to Art Daily, this is part of the Cultural Olympiad in the city – showcasing various art pieces during the Vancouver 2010 Games.
And just up the street from the Vancouver Art Gallery, a little shanty town has popped up, right next to the fanciest building in Vancouver, The Shangri-La.
