Yet another day with another lunch time adventure! I had heard on twitter this morning the Huskies would be down in Yaletown at the RoundHouse for a little while at lunch. At 11:45, I left the office and hopped 1 stop to the RoundHouse. I got off the train, went over to the spot. No dogs. Oh no! I had missed the dogs and today is their last day in Vancouver.
But just to be sure, I texted my pin pal, Ariane, to see if she knew where they were. JACKPOT! She called me right away to let me know the dogs were down at the SeaWall on Davie – only 2 blocks away or so. I found that kind of odd. I thought I would be able to those dogs barking and yapping and being noisy. Don’t those dogs just bark and bark and yap until they’re all running?
A couple of minutes later, and behold! The huskies and one of their owners, Olav Falsnes, hanging out by the marina all decked out in their Northern best outfits.
