Some of you may have seen this already, or, if you’re like me, you’ve seen it over and over today and it just never gets old. In any event, I often wonder if hockey players have hurt feelings when huge amounts of people boo at them as they skate on the ice, or taunt them in the goal – i.e. Turrrco! Turrrrrrrrrrrrco! I also wonder how awful it must be to be pulled out of the goal with all those people jeering at you?
I’m just thinking about that as I’m watching the Canucks cream LA in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Anyway, my weekend ahead is looking to be very crafty and exciting. I’m meeting up with Cynthia and visiting bloggers, Robyn (from Montreal) and Bea (from Texas) tomorrow at the Daiso in good old Aberdeen Mall. And then on Sunday, I’m on the road to Mission for a real live crafty tea party! Huzzah! I’m so excited. I’m taking my crocheting with me for that. And my bird sewing. I need a sewing consultation on that project. I don’t get it. I’m missing a basic step and it’s right in front of me. I know it. Anyway, I’ll get it sorted out for sure. And then I’ll fill the house with stuffed birds.
