After nice night on the town – dinner, some dancing, and enjoying the stand up comedy of Don Rickles, King of the Insult, Joy* and The XMAS Bandit took a leisurely walk through town on their way home. They took in the sights and the sounds of the city – enjoying the Christmas lights that had recently been put up as well as the wreaths and the Christmas trees. It truly is Christmas in the city. Holding hands, they canoodled down the street – both very satisfied with the day. Joy was very pleased with the new diamond broach The XMAS Bandit bought her, “just because”. The XMAS Bandit also had new items – a couple of new tools for himself – for work, of course. Today he received an ax and flashlight. So excited about his new purchases, he carried them around all night with him. And sometimes Joy would hold the flashlight for him. I certainly hope tomorrow’s cardboard package is a wheelbarrow. How else is he supposed to carry all this stuff? Or maybe a new car with a great big trunk? We’ll find out tomorrow.

Meanwhile, as the couple continued down the street, something caught their eye on a nearby building.

Oh crap. Now what?

*Now, about Joy. I forgot to mention yesterday in Joy’s introduction that she is a handmade gift made by Cynthia. Joy’s the cutest little snowlady ever.*
