Late birthday dinner – but for Malcolm

We’re on our way out for late birthday sushi because today is Malcolm‘s 30-something birthday. And for an added challenge, I’m shooting with our toy camera. I’ll be bringing the wide angle lens and the fisheye lens for a good time. Can I change lenses in the middle of a roll of film? Good question. I’ll find out tonight.

I’m shooting film today because I think I may do the next 12X12 photo marathon like we did last winter. I thought I should at least pretend to practice this time. So here we go!

We drank lots of coffee and I snoozed on the Blenz stuffed chairs in between the announcements of the next theme for the next photo. What a day that was. Exhausting. But you know what? I forgot all about that when I saw my photos on display tonight. EEP! It was so exciting! Somehow I managed to get 8 out of the 12 shots and they were not bad at all. In fact there were 2 that I really liked. YAY! I believe all the photos will be on display on flickr in the near future. I’ll let you know when they are up in case you want to see them. All the photos were great with all the different interpretations of each theme and it was good to see those now well-rested and warmed-up photographers again.

I don’t mean to brag, but these people were looking at my photos:
