*PLEASE NOTE: THIS POST IS EXTREMELY IMAGE HEAVY. SORRY FOR THE SLOWNESS*

Frank and Lisa looked at me with excited expectation.

Frank: SO!!! How do you like it?

Lisa: Tell us! Tell us!

Carol: Oh my gosh…the gingerbread is perfect. I love it! *nom* *nom* *nom* Yum. Now I’ll bite into the stained glass part.

Lisa: I can’t wait to hear what she thinks!

Frank looked at me eagerly.

Carol: Uh…oh…um…I’m not sure how to say this…

Frank: What is it?

Hanging it up…

Looks like my Canucks jersey will be back in the closet for another season. Those stupid Blackhawks won AGAIN. This was a repeat of last season. And here we thought we’d win the Stanley Cup for sure because we heard a statistic that every Canadian city that hosted the Olympics won the Stanley cup the same year. Apparently it was the Habs (Montreal) and the Flames (Calgary). Oh well. We certainly did have a good time at Sami Salo’s expense the last couple of days. In fact, I joined the Sami Salo’s Ruptured Testicle page on facebook. Thankfully, the rupture diagnosis was a false alarm. But that didn’t stop me from following Sami Salo’s Testicle on twitter.

Sadly, this whole day was a write off – but rather than listing off the series of complaints I think I’ll just list the good things that happened today.

1) I got to ride the bus with Monica Hamburg after a tough day at the office. It was a delightful ride despite the gigantic hold up that’s been happening the last 2 days at Main & Hastings – a protest has been going on for the last 2 days. It’s making getting home a nuisance.

I thought I had something else for the list. I can’t remember what it was. Oh well. I’m sure I’ll have something better to report tomorrow.
